Inveda Lime Peel and Neem Face wash for Men Review

This is a guest post from Bipin who has reviewed one of the new launches for Men from Inveda.

Hi Friends,
I am Bipin. I used to never take good care of my skin or face before. Off late I am being influenced by 2 Divas, my girlfriend and Priyanka. This has brought a good change in my mindset. Today, I am proud to say that I apply moisturizer everytime I wash my face 🙂 (Just a small step towards wellbeing). I aspire to take slow and steady steps. After reading many journals on this site, I have understood why it is important to read ingredients list and reviews before buying any product. Based on my experience I have written a review on Inveda Lime peel and Neem facewash. Hope you guys like it.

My Skin Type:

Oily Skin.

Ingredients:

Aqua (Water), Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, Coco Amido Propyl Betaine, Coco dieEthenol amide,  Sodium Chloride, Poly Quaternium 39, Sodium Lactate, Glycerin, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime Peel) Extract, Azadirachta Indica Leaf (Neem) Extract, Sodium PCA, Fragrance, Dimethicone & PEG 12, Allantion, Disodium EDTA, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Benzyl Alcolhol,  Imidazolidinyl Urea, Citric Acid, Menthol, CI-19140 & CI-42090.

Price:

Rs 150 for 100ml

Product description and Swatch:

Pro’s:

1)Paraben Free.

2)Non-comedogenic face wash.

3)Lime peel extract has Vitamin C which has Anti-Oxidant and deep cleansing properties. It reduces blemishes along with Sodium Lactate.

4)Neem extract has antibacterial properties.
5)Sodium PCA(Pyroglutamic Acid, a naturally occurring Amino Acid known as Proline) along with Allantoin help in retaining moisture and balance Natural oil level on skin.
6)100% Vegetarian and Not tested on animals (Time to be Socially conscious!)

Con’s:

1)Honestly It does not provide any exciting promises(I might not buy it if it does not enthuse me). Marketing and Branding a product is as Important as the Production itself. (Ofcourse many products which promise Hella-lot of things turn out to be Duds! But atleast they tried 😉 ).
2)It works just right on my oily skin. But you might feel rather dry if you have Dry or Normal skin.
3)The product claims to remove Odour! I dont understand. Odour from my face? Frankly I dont buy that. It has strong fragrance which might or might not(If strong fragrance puts you off) work on you. I seriously doubt if anyone will buy this product to remove odour from their facial skin.

Directions for use:

Lightly massage a few drops on wet skin, rinse off with water, apply Moisturiser.

Availability:

Available in cosmetic shops. Last time I checked it was available only on Purplle.com.

Final Verdict:

I personally didnt like this product (Thumbs down!). If you are not too eager (like me :)) to buy “Men only” product then check out my friends review on Inveda Purifying Neem and Gotukola face wash. Or you can use your Sister’s or GF’s Face wash (They do a lot of research before using anything. Soooo unlike us. Ha ha!!;)
