Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop Lip Balms Reviews

This is long pending review which got delayed for so many reasons.Maybelline launched their extended versions of Baby Lips Electro Pop Lip Balms some time in November 2014.I had some issues with Nykaa and finally got it in December from Myntra.PS:Please do not buy anything from Nykaa,I faced a lot of issues with them.

Okay Maybelline launched 4 variants in the Electro Pop series:

1)Fierce N Tangy(Non-tinted version)

2)Berry Bomb(Tinted version)

3)Oh So Orange(Tinted version)

4)Pink Shock(Tinted version)

Pro’s:

1)Like any Maybelline Baby Lips,it moisturises and heals dry lips.

2)It contains moisturising ingredients like Shea butter,Aloe vera,Panthenol,Vitamin E,Candella wax.

3)Though they come in Neon shades,they are subtle and pretty tinted lip balms.

4)Subtle fruity fragrance.

5)They stay for a good 2-3 hours after which reapplication is required.

6)It does not make lips greasy or sticky.

7)Berry Bomb,Pink Shock are most pigmented lip balms which covers lip pigmentation.Plus as they fade these two shades leave pink tint on lips.

8)Oh So Orange is mildly pigmented.

9)Fierce N Tangy is the non-tinted version.

10)It is easily available and affordable.

11)Paraben-free.

Con’s:

1)It does not stay for 8 hours.Practically speaking no lip product does so not a major con.

2)No Sunscreen unlike other Baby Lips Lip balms.

Directions for use:

Twist the lip balm and apply as frequently as required.

I love Maybelline Baby Lips.You can check out the reviews of other variants HERE.There isn’t a day when I am not using these lip balms.I use both tinted and non-tinted versions but I prefer non-tinted ones more.Naturally when they launched the Electro Pop series,I was excited to try it.My Initial hesitation was if the shades are too neon and bright,I might not be able to carry them off.But fortunately all the shades are wearable.In the Hydration department,full marks for the lip balms.If you are one of those who love tinted lip balms then you are in for a treat with these Electro Pop Lip balms.Definitely worth your money!
