Today I will be reviewing Nivea Crème. A few of my friends have been using this cream for years now and they are happy with it. It is available in both tins and jars. For my face, I generally use a small quantity during the day. Sometimes I also use it as a night cream (If at all I wash my face before going to bed  ). After using it regularly for about six months now, here are my thoughts on the product.

My Skin Type: 

Normal skin.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Paraffinum Liquidum, Cera Microcristalline, Glycerin, Lanolin Alcohol (Eucerit), Paraffin, Panthenol, Decyl Oleate, Octyldodecanol, Aluminum Stearates, Citric Acid, Magnesium Sulfate, Magnesium Stearate, Parfum, limonene, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellol, Linalool, Citronellol, Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamyl Alcohol.

Pro’s:

1)It is a excellent moisturiser for normal and dry skin types.
2)It is contains moisturising & hydrating ingredients Eucerit,Panthenol,Mineral oil.
3)It has a thick creamy texture and a pleasant fragrance and can be used on face & body.
4)The skin remains moisturised throughout the day for long hours.
5)It can be an all-purpose cream that you carry around in your bag. Many-a-times I have used it as a hand cream. It can also be used on rashes, small wounds etc.
6)It is gender and age-friendly:  Nivea crème can be by both men and women. It can also be used on children’s skin.
7)It works wonders on dry skin.
8) It adds a subtle glow to the skin.
9)Easily available and affordable.
10)It is paraben-free.

Con’s:

1)It contains comedogenic ingredients such as decyl oleate, lanolin alcohol, paraffinum liquidum ,Paraffin and magnesium stearate.Hence it is not suitable for for acne-prone skin.
2) Skin feels oily/greasy when applied during summer.
3)f your skin type is “oily” or even “combination” you might find it to be a bit heavy and greasy on the skin.

Directions for Use:

Apply required quantity of cream on cleansed face or before bed.

Final Verdict:

Nivea crème is the best all-purpose moisturizer I have ever used. I always have a small tin handy in my bag. It has a refreshing scent and will leave your skin feeling soft and tender. I will definitely buy it again.
