Today I will be reviewing a topical application for acne scars and blemishes from Kaya known as Kaya Pigmentation Reducer Gel. You can also check out two other kaya products which I have reviewed previously: Kaya Daily Use Sunscreen SPF 15 and Kaya Soothing Cleansing Gel.

My Skin Type:

Oily and acne prone skin.

It is a translucent gel which easily gets absorbed by the skin without making skin oily/shiny.

1)It is non comedogenic and oil free.

2)It comes in a gel base which is safe for acne prone skin.

3)It does not break me out.

4)It contains skin lightening ingredients like Lactic Acid and Niacinamide.

5)It lightens hyper-pigmentation skin issues like: Sun Tan, Acne marks, Melasma, Freckles, Skin discolourations due to hormonal changes etc.

9)It is safe and there are no side effects like peeling or dryness.

Con’s:

4)This won’t do much for pitted-acne scars.

Apply a thin layer of the gel on blemishes or entire face.Also do not forget to use a good sunscreen during the day to prevent sun damage.

Final Verdict:

I have been using Kaya Pigmentation Reducer gel for a few months now. Most cream bases of acne creams break me out so it was important for me to find a good gel base product like this one. I could definitely see lightening for acne blemishes within few weeks of usage.One more good thing is it does not cause any peeling or dryness so some times I apply 2-3 times in a day. So I definitely recommend others as well. I agree it is expensive but at the same time it is effective and comes with many positives as well.One tube does last almost 2 months even if used daily. Its frustrating but there are limited number of options available for acne prone skin.
